Dr. Eddie Khav is a nephrologist with advanced training in both General Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology. He completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency training in Arizona before moving to Los Angeles, where he completed fellowship training at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Khav began working at Balboa Nephrology’s Mission Valley and San Diego locations in September 2026. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for patients with kidney disease. He has a strong interest in kidney disease prevention, patient education, and transplant care, and believes in helping patients better understand their condition and treatment options. His approach is grounded in clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and a commitment to supporting patients throughout every stage of their kidney care journey.
