Dr. Hussain joined Balboa Nephrology Medical Group in 2006 and practices in El Centro. He specializes in kidney disease and provides hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care at FMC Dialysis units.

He is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. In addition, he is a certified interventional nephrologist and performs hemodialysis access procedures in the Imperial Valley. He also serves as a sub-investigator with the California Institute of Renal Research in El Centro.

Dr. Hussain earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Punjab Medical School in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Next, he completed his residency at St. Francis Medical Center (UPMC). He then completed his nephrology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Hussain enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and following the stock market.
