Dr. Leininger is kind and patient. My Mom is 90 years old and is navigating Kidney failure in her remaining kidney after cancer took her other one. He explained the effect of lasix on her Kidney and her Congestive Heart Failure ( CHF ) We have had the privilege of seeing him over the past couple of years. The doctor was attentive, friendly, and professional. He listened to what I had to say and answered all my questions.

Dr. Sawhney is my Mom’s nephrology. She sees him twice a year. Thankfully she doesn’t need to see him more often that twice a year. But every time we see him we’re always happy with our care because he’s really proactive in helping manage her blood pressure AND her diabetes. Things internal medicine or PCP providers also do when caring for patients. So I like that he’s not just looking at her current kidney functions but taking actions to treat her other conditions to prevent further deterioration of her kidney functions.

I was very surprised that my visit was very satisfactory and given excellent review on the professionalism of the the Staff . It made me feel welcome and was treated well. Dr. Thompson assisted my mother-in-law as she went through kidney failure and dialysis. He is very knowledgeable, caring, and attentive to the point that we actually looked forward to meeting with him despite the difficult discussions and choices required. It is very clear to me that he takes his work seriously and actually cares very much about his patients. I hope you never need a nephrologist (kidney doctor), but if you do, you will be lucky and blessed if you can have Dr. Thompson as your doctor. I can't say enough good about him.
