Sandy Ahearn joined Balboa Nephrology Medical Group in 2024. She provides coverage for dialysis clinics in North San Diego County.

Sandy received her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2017 from William Paterson University in New Jersey. Prior to receiving her NP, she worked in dialysis and nephrology settings for many years as an RN.

In her free time, Sandy enjoys traveling, being outdoors, hiking, paddle boarding, going to the beach, walking her dog, and spending time with her friends and family.
