George Nilsson joined Balboa Research in January 2005 as the Clinical Research Coordinator and has served as the Clinical Research Director since 2022. He is a results-oriented leader with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across teams. George excels at building strong customer relationships and driving successful program outcomes.

His experience includes leading cross-functional initiatives, managing high-performing teams, and effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels. He is a hands-on contributor with a passion for innovation and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Outside of work, George enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and four children, and his five-year-old granddaughter. A proud US Marine veteran, he remains a dedicated San Diego Padres fan (even during challenging seasons). He also has a passion for aviation, having earned his pilot’s license, and enjoys off-roading adventures.
