Maria Jose joined Balboa Nephrology Medical Group in 2023, after serving as Dialysis Registered Nurse since 2014. She provides dialysis coverage at FMC units throughout Imperial County.

Maria Jose received her first Masters of Science in Nursing with emphasis in Leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2018 and decided to return to school to be closer to patients. She received her second Masters of Science in Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022 from United States University.

In her free time, Maria Jose enjoys spending time with her daughters and husband traveling. She likes to read when she is able to have some quite time at home.
