Jonathan LaHuynh joined Balboa Nephrology in March 2025.  He earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a specialization in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Arizona. With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse, Jonathan has dedicated his entire career to serving the San Diego community.

His diverse background includes working in skilled nursing facilities and various acute care settings, including medical, surgical, and oncological intensive care units. Jonathan is passionate about providing holistic, compassionate care, ensuring that each patient’s physical, emotional, and overall well-being are prioritized. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every clinical setting, striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of his patients.
