Dr. Leininger Joined Balboa Nephrology Medical Group in 2022 and practices in the East County La Mesa area as well as at Sharp Rees-Stealy Clinics.

He attended medical school at Western University, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He completed his residency at Loma Linda University where he went on to finish his fellowship in nephrology at UC San Diego. He is grateful to continue serving patients with kidney disease in San Diego and specializes in all forms of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and dialysis.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Leininger enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, visiting national parks, and traveling with his wife.
