Dr. Sawhney joined Balboa Nephrology Medical Group in 2016 and practices in Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, and Newport Beach. He specializes in kidney disease and cares for patients receiving hemodialysis at FMC and DaVita Dialysis units.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from SMS Medical College, University of Rajasthan in Jaipur, India. Next, he began his residency at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He then continued training at the VA Hospital in Long Beach and completed residency at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). After that, he completed nephrology fellowship training at the VA Hospital in Long Beach and UCI Medical Center.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sawhney enjoys celebrating life with his family. He also enjoys music and travel.
