My Story:  Diagnosed Dilated Cardiomyopathy 1994.  Experienced treatment go to bed for a year. Sudden Cardiac Death and over next 7 weeks, maxed out of meds and had 3 more ICDs.  Time to list for transplant – 6 weeks on list.  New Heart 2002, new heart & kidney (2012).  Met my first donor family.  Have not heard from 2nd.  Active in Transplant Community – Volunteering Team GA Manager.  Enjoy RVing, Boating, Kayaking, Puzzles, Cycling, Reading, Family time & Grand Kid!  Loving my Bonus Years and thankful for my 2 Donors!
