By dedicating a day to hearing directly from our patients, we move beyond clinical knowledge to gain a richer, more nuanced understanding of their lives. We learn about their daily challenges, their hopes, their fears, and the impact kidney disease has on every aspect of their well-being. This direct engagement fosters a deeper connection and allows our staff to see each patient not just as a diagnosis, but as an individual with a unique story.

By also including our partners in this annual learning experience, we gain a broader perspective on the comprehensive support network that surrounds our patients. Understanding the roles and contributions of each partner allows our team to better navigate the complexities of care and advocate effectively for our patients’ needs.
