Last week, we embarked on an inspiring journey at the beautiful Sharp Prebys Innovation and Education Center. Balboa Nephrology, Balboa United and Balboa Research came together for a day of learning, motivation, and connection at A Hero’s Journey. We were deeply moved by the powerful stories of ReMend Mentors Dawn, her mother Pam, and Emmitt, whose experiences have profoundly shaped our approach to patient care.

Our team was thrilled to gain valuable insights into the latest kidney care advancements from our esteemed partners: the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), NxStage, Fresenius, IKONA, LifeSharing, and the Sharp HealthCare Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program. The day closed with a relaxing group meditation session led by Chopra Center Global Coach Mentor, Micole Noble.
