Medical Assistants Recognition Day is observed on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, during Medical Assistants Recognition Week (MARWeek), which runs from October 20–24, 2025.
Each year, during the third full week of October, healthcare organizations across the nation take time to recognize and honor the essential role that medical assistants play in providing high-quality patient care.
From greeting patients and recording vital signs to supporting clinical procedures and ensuring accurate documentation, medical assistants are often the first and last point of contact in a patient’s visit. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication make an incredible difference in every healthcare setting.
