National Nurses Week may have just wrapped up, but our appreciation for nurses continues every day.
Each year, National Nurses Week is celebrated from May 6–12 and concludes on International Nurses Day, honoring the birthday of Florence Nightingale. This year’s theme, “The Power of Nurses™,” recognizes the critical role nurses play in improving patient care, supporting families, and strengthening healthcare teams.
At Balboa Nephrology, we see that power every day.
Our nurses are often the calm voice, the steady presence, and the trusted guide for patients navigating kidney disease. They help patients understand their care, coordinate important details, support physicians and clinical teams, and bring compassion into moments that can feel overwhelming.
As we reflect on National Nurses Week, we are proud to recognize our Balboa Nephrology nurses across all of our clinics, including our wonderful El Centro team pictured here.
Their work reflects what kidney care should be: knowledgeable, personal, and deeply human.
To all of our Balboa Nephrology nurses, thank you for the care you provide, the relationships you build, and the difference you make in the lives of our patients and their families.
Your work matters. Your presence matters. And we are grateful for the power you bring to Balboa Nephrology every day.
