Dr. Leininger joined Balboa Nephrology Medical Group in 2022 and practices in the East County/La Mesa area. He also sees patients at Sharp Rees-Stealy clinics.

He attended medical school at Western University, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. Next, he completed his residency at Loma Linda University. He then completed his nephrology fellowship at UC San Diego (UCSD).

Dr. Leininger is grateful to serve patients with kidney disease in San Diego. He provides care for chronic kidney disease (CKD), hypertension, and dialysis.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Leininger enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, visiting national parks, and traveling with his wife.
