Dr. Ong joined Balboa Nephrology in 2025. His early life in Covina, CA, preceded a move to Las Vegas, where he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He then earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences COMP-NW. His path included a return to Las Vegas for residency at Mountain View Hospital, followed by a Nephrology fellowship in Southern California at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles General Medical Center.

Outside of work, he likes to weight train, go to Dodger games, and enjoy all of the events & outdoor activities that Southern California has to offer!
