Dr. Steer joined Balboa Nephrology Medical Group in 2003 and practices in the La Jolla area. He specializes in kidney disease and cares for patients receiving hemodialysis at FMC and DaVita Dialysis units.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University, where he also completed his residency. Next, he completed his nephrology fellowship at UC San Diego (UCSD).
