I am a: Kidney Recipient
My family has a long history with transplantation. We have a polycystic disease that runs in our family. My mother and uncle as well as my brother, and myself have had kidney transplants. My sister and my daughter have the disease and will need a transplant in the future. I was blessed to receive a kidney from a living donor named Deanna who was a member of the church I serve. I will celebrate 13 years as a transplant recipient this September. Thank God for the gift of life and the quality of life transplantation has offered me. Blessings!
