My Story:

I have a genetic disease called alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.  Found out when I was 36 years old, by the time I was 46 I received a left lung transplant.  In 2017, my native lung started expanding and pushing on my transplanted lung so in 2018, transplanted my right lung.  I have been coming to the transplant games since 2002.
