Diabetic or Weight Reduction Options: use sugar-free jelly instead of honey
4 pound roasting chicken
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Grease baking pan with olive oil.
3. Put chicken in pan being careful not to overlap pieces. Coat chicken with
honey and seasonings.
4. Bake for about 1 hour or until brown on both sides. Turn once during cooking.
